Timarie Diehl (most people call her Tim!) is an organic farmer and botanist from northern New Jersey. After completing her botany and environmental studies degrees at Connecticut College in 2015, she went on to work on organic farms across the U.S. and abroad, including a summer internship at Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture in Tarrytown, NY. Her travels eventually brought her to Chicago, where she spent a few seasons working at The Organic Gardener in the northern suburbs of the city. It was then that she realized her passion for small-scale, residential farming. She also realized her proficiency for translating her scientific background into bite-sized lessons, which she used while teaching children and families the beauty of growing their own food.
After so much time spent cultivating this passion for organic farming backyard vegetable gardening, Timarie has brought her skills back to NJ. In collaboration with CB & Sons Landscaping, a respected small business out of Hillsborough NJ, she is working to help people realize the beautiful simplicity of growing delicious, nutritious food on their own plot of mother Earth.
